With all the uncertainty the Coronavirus pandemic has brought, the importance of maintaining our mental wellbeing has gained more attention. Richard was therefore pleased to be invited to join a For Men To Talk meeting this week.
This group formed earlier this year with physical meetings in Potton and moved to online zoom meetings after lockdown. The group is doing crucial work in supporting men suffering with anxiety, depression and grief and helping them to talk with others in the same situation.
Speaking after the session, Richard said, "Sometimes the hardest part in dealing with a problem is starting the conversation that enables help to be accessed. I was really pleased to see how the group help people do just that. The conversation is light, talks a lot about football, but also provides an open and honest forum for each of us to share".
