UK Transition

The UK has left the EU and on 31 December the Transition Period will end.

Regardless of the outcome of negotiations with the EU, the UK will leave the single market and customs union and there will be guaranteed changes for which we all must prepare. There are a number of actions that businesses and individuals must take to be prepared. Many can be done now and are not dependent on a trade deal with the EU - they are guaranteed changes.

The dedicated UK Transition Hub at gov.uk/transition is the key place to go for information on how to prepare. It includes an easy-to-use tool where we can all go to check what steps we need to take now.
